Whitney Houston

Unfortunately for her and her family, Whitney Houston isn't able to rest in peace just yet.

There is a genuine concern that her jewel-filled coffin may be targeted by grave-robbers, and as such, her family are paying for around-the-clock security.

Following her death on February 11, the singer was buried in a gold-lined casket, wearing diamond earrings and a brooch, valued in total at somewhere around $500,000, making her grave a potential target for thieves.

"There is a very genuine fear that her coffin will be targeted by grave robbers," a source told the Daily Star.

"It would be hard for them to actually dig her casket up, but that won't stop psychotic fans or people who think it could make them money.

"The fact she was buried with such valuable jewellery is just an invitation to sickos.

"It's ironic that Whitney, who was most famous for The Bodyguard movie when she was alive, has to have bodyguards even in death."
