Lucrative offer for Alcoa workers

Alcoa sign small Workers at Alcoa's Point Henry plant are considering offers to move to Saudi Arabia to set up what the company says will be the world's cheapest and most efficient aluminium smelter.

And it could be an offer too good to refuse: News Limited says the carrot is a salary well over three-thousand-dollars-a-week, plus 27-grand in travel expenses AND free accommodation..

Alcoa’s currently assessing the future of Point Henry, which has been running at a loss for some time.

Some Alcoa workers have called our newsroom this morning to say the overseas packages are only on offer to Point Henry management.
