Terrorist leader punished for “weapon” in cell

abdul-nacer-benbrika An Australian terrorist leader whose followers once trained at Ocean Grove has been caught with a suspected weapon in his cell at Lara's Barwon Prison.

ABDUL BENBRIKA's group was accused of plotting attacks on the MCG , the Melbourne Grand Prix and Crown Casino.

He's spent two days in solitary after guards found a sharpened toothbrush in his cell.

Prison toothbrushes are made of a soft material so they can't be used in stabbings but inmates say they're too short... BENBRIKA claims he filed his down so he could jam it into a pen to reach his back teeth..

He’s currently serving twelve-years after being found guilty of terrorism offences.
