Local car crash victim named

crash marcus hill 1 A man who was killed in a single-car crash on the Bellarine Peninsula at the weekend has been identified as a local businessman.

The Geelong Advertiser has named the man as 73-year-old bicycle store owner PHILLIP HUNT.

He died after his car crashed through a fence and into a paddock on Queenscliff Road on Saturday.

At the moment it’s suspected he may have suffered a heart attack before losing control of his car.
