Missing 13-year-old found safe in SA

LarniA 13-year-old girl who went missing from her home at Ultima near Swan Hill after meeting a man on Facebook, has been found safe and well in South Australia.

Larni Edwards vanished on her way to school on Tuesday.

Police believe she travelled to Ballarat to meet up with a 36-year-old man she’d met online, before driving with him to Mount Gambier.

The pair were located in a car park at Millicent this morning.

A 36-year-old man from Ballarat has been arrested and police say they expect to lay numerous charges.

The car the pair were in has been seized for forensic testing.

Police from Victoria have travelled to South Australia and are now believed to be taking Larni back to her parents.
