anzacgeelong Thousands have braved the wet and cold to pay their respects to our diggers at a dawn service at Torquay.

Around 6,000 have made the trip to Point Danger and Torquay RSL President KEVIN EGAN tells K-ROCK he thinks their service has become so popular because of its Gallipoli-like feel:

Around 300 meantime got up extra early for a pre-dawn service at 4.15am in Geelong's Johnstone Park.
