ford2 With still no resolution on the CMI dispute, Ford could be forced to start standing down workers as soon as today.

The local car maker tells K-ROCK if the fight between the parts supplier and its landlord can be resolved early in the day, a planned stand-down at Geelong could be avoided, with the North Geelong plant not expected to be affected until tomorrow.

It could be too late though for Broadmeadows workers who might be forced into taking a day off.

Meetings between stakeholders continue this morning.
