A man and woman have managed to escape an overnight house fire at Lethbridge.

Flames engulfed the Donaldson Road home just before 2 AM.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene for smoke inhalation.

DEAN MANSON from the CFA says the couple got out in time thanks to their smoke detector:

The cause of the blaze is being investigated but it’s not beoieved to be suspicious.
