Man jailed after fatal police shooting |

The accomplice of a North Geelong man who was involved in a violent armed robbery in which his accomplice was shot dead by police, has been jailed for five years.
27-year-old LUCAS EDWARD WATSON, of no fixed address, along with 30-year-old CRAIG DOUGLAS, robbed and stabbed a hearing impaired woman at a St Kilda hotel last year.
DOUGLAS was later shot dead after threatening police with a knife.
WATSON pleaded guilty to recklessly causing serious injury and armed robbery.
The offences were committed while he was on parole.
He’s been ordered to serve a minimum of three years before being eligible for release.
