Geelong will not be getting Melbourne's car import and export trade.
The long-awaited report into moving it down the Freeway's being released today, but K-ROCK can reveal the local roll-on roll-off trade will be consolidated at a new location at Webb Dock.
Geelong's been ruled-out because of issues including a lack of available and suitable land, as well as opposition from car industry stakeholders.
Last year Minister for Ports DENIS NAPTHINE came to Geelong to spruik the jobs and financial boost the move could bring to the region.
