| Avalon chief vows to fight for Qantas jobs |

Yesterday it was reported that Qantas will tell workers later this month that the Tullamarine workshop will close within months, with Avalon to follow within a couple of years. The airline though insists no decision has yet been made. Avalon CEO JUSTIN GIDDINGS says he'll be holding more talks with Qantas this week:
