Police say a car was used to smash in the front of the Repco store in the early hours of Saturday. It’s believed only about $350 was taken but the owners face a far bigger damage bill as well as losses caused by the forced closure of the outlet until it can be repaired. Police think a stolen car later found burnt out at Corio might have been used in the heist. Anyone who knows anything about the incident or who may have seen something suspicious is asked to call the Crime Stopers hotline on 1 800 333 000 or go to the website at www.crimestoppers.com.au. |
