Forget petrol companies ripping you off at the pump, it seems desperate times are calling for desperate measures with thieves taking to sucking petrol out of people's cars.

Torquay police say at least six-cars have been targeted in the last month,with one man finding around $90 worth of fuel missing from his vehicle last week.
