A police blitz that’s seen much of Corio locked down has uncovered scores of offences, as police vow to continue their road safety crackdown.
Twenty drivers have been caught in unregistered vehicles, while another fifteen have been fined for using mobile phones while driving.
And Inspector NIGEL HOWARD from the Operations Response Unit says of three people caught with drugs, one also had dangerous weapons in his vehicle.
Yesterday’s Corio operation was the first in the state under the new We Are The Toll campaign.
