Ambulance staff are not impressed with Channel 10 after the station’s news service prematurely reported a ‘mauling’ by a dog in Geelong.
Ten’s newsreaders announced ‘breaking news’ at the end of the bulletin, saying a young girl had been bitten on the face by a dog in Geelong. In fact, the 8-year-old girl's injuries were so minor paramedics were turned away from the job after the incident at Norlane yesterday afternoon. Picture: Channel Ten newsreader Mal Walden
