Canberra coughs up for Geelong’s worst intersections

Marles and French Polynesian President Gaston Tong Sang Nearly $400,000 is going towards four of Geelong’s worst accident blackspots.

Along Packington Street signs and lights will go in at Geelong West, near Gordon Avenue, and near Noble Street in Newtown.

At Bell Post Hill there'll be lights, signs and hazard markers along Eagleview Crescent, while in Geelong’s CBD lighting and signs will be installed opposite City Hall in Little Malop Street.

Federal member for Corio RICHARD MARLES says the locations have been chosen by experts:
