Police are investigating the possibility one of the cars involved in a fatal collision at Rippleside may have run a red light.
A 48-year-old man from Corio died yesterday afternoon when his car collided with a Mitsubishi Magna at the intersection of Melbourne Road and Bell Parade. A 59-year-old man from Geelong West who was driving the Mitsubishi is helping police with their enquiries. Last night he was being treated in Geelong hospital for minor injuries. The road was blocked to all traffic for almost 6 hours following the smash.
