Police are after public help as they investigate a petrol drive-off in Little River.

They say a man filled up a delivery truck with 155-dollars of diesel at the BP on May nine, with false number plates used on the truck.

Anyone with info's asked to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police say the number of drive-offs increases when there’s a spike in the price of petrol at the bowser.
