The man went into the shop in Porter Street at about 9.45, telling the attendant he had a gun and placing a bag on the counter. The staffer handed over cash as instructed although he’s told police he didn't see a weapon. The bandit ran off and was last seen east along Porter Street. No one was injured but police are asking for public help in identifying the man. He’s described as being aged in his mid 30’s, Caucasian and approximately 178 to 188cms tall, medium to solid build, dark hair and an unshaven face.
