Racial tensions may be behind a triple stabbing at Lara’s Barwon Prison.

Two inmates have been treated for minor injuries but a third has been flown to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne with what’s believed to be a stab wound to the eye.

It’s believed a fight involving up to 8 prisoners started in a yard at the maximum security prison at around 4 yesterday afternoon.
