The K-Rock paparazzo has been out and about in South Melbourne and has come back with these photos of the finished houses from Channel Nine’s hit series The Block. Our photographer snapped the exterior shots of the four completed homes this afternoon. As always the amateur renovators seem to have done a magnificent job breathing new life into what was a tired apartment block opposite Father Bob’s church in South Melbourne. However the tiny front gardens appear to have limited landscaping on the street to a minimum. Our snapper said none of the couples from the show were around and their cars were not parked outside, suggesting that filming has wrapped and preparations are now underway for the auctions that will decide the winner. Above: The newly renovated building from across the street. Below (top to bottom): Corner view showing Sophie and Dale’s home closest to camera Number 407, the house being renovated by constantly warring couple Danni and Dan (some say Dan is a Pat Rafter lookalike) The yellow door is number 403, the house being reconstructed by brothers Mike and Andrew Home number 401, the house under renovation by Sophie and Dale. They’re the couple who keep heading up the highway to Geelong to buy their furnishings.
