A court's been told a man who died after an altercation at a Geelong hotel the day after last year’s AFL Grand Final, had been brutally beaten.
A committal hearing into the death of EDWIN SINGER has been told he’d suffered 27 rib fractures, a fractured sternum, a collapsed lung, a fractured nose, and extensive cuts and bruises. BRADLEY WALTERS and BRETT DRUMMOND are accused of bashing EDWIN SINGER to death at the Sir Charles Hotham Hotel in October last year. A forensic pathologist has told their committal hearing the cause of death was complications from blunt chest trauma. The hearing continues today.
