Apollo Bay P-12 Parents of students at Apollo Bay P-12 school are pressuring the BAILIEU government to keep its election promise to rebuild the facility.

The government vowed to pour $6-million into the re-build before the 2010 election but has failed to provide funding in the two budgets handed down since it came to power.

Classroom’s are plagued by water leaks and mould and dilapidated buildings, and repairs have been patchy at best.

The government says it will provide the necessary cash during its current term but the school council says it’s worried nothing will happen until the next election is due.
