Federal police are still giving nothing away after yesterday’s raid on a home at Point Lonsdale.
AFP and Customs officers inspected the home yesterday morning, setting up two yellow tents in the front yard and taking away boxes of material from inside the two story house.
But they’re refusing to provide details, saying it’s part of an ongoing investigation.
Curious neighbours watched as police in HAZMAT suits, officers with sniffer dogs and customs officers painstakingly searched the premises.
Locals claim the home is linked to a former Detective and one time Crime Commission Manager, who specialised in fighting money laundering operations and Asian drug syndicates.
That information has not been confirmed.
