The Nursing Federation is warning Geelong could be affected by state-wide action being taken by members of the Royal District Nursing Service.
They're chasing a 2.5 per cent pay rise over four years as well as a $1,000 professional development allowance in the first year.
But the union says while the company's agreed to the wage increase, it's only offering up to $700 for the allowance, with strict conditions.
The union says action will include bans on clerical and admin work.
