Three Geelong tourists have been caught up in a murder mystery in Peru.

JESSICA VO and local brothers HUGH and TOM HANLON were on holiday earlier this year to celebrate JESSICA beating ovarian cancer.

But the trio and another three Aussies have been implicated in the death of a hotel worker who fell from the 15th floor of the hotel where they were staying.

They say they were returning to their hotel after shopping when they heard screams.

But the dead man’s family have told media in Peru the initial police investigation onto the fatality was faulty, and ignored signs of a scuffle.

They claim LINO RODRIGUEZ VILCHEZ was picked up and thrown from the window.

The Australians have all since returned home but say they’ve received legal advice not to comment.
