Geelong joins fight to free jailed lawyer

melinda taylora A Geelong councillor is hoping to get one million signatures on a petition to free a fellow lawyer who’s been arrested in Libya.

MELINDA TAYLOR was detained after meeting with SAIF GADDAFI, the son of slain dictator MUAMAR GADDAFI.

She was sent to Libya by the International Criminal Court as part of a team organising SAIF’s defence.

Geelong council is supporting the petition to free MELINDA, who's been accused of spying.
