Six young Aussies, including three Geelong locals, have been given consular help after being accused of murder in Peru.

46-year-old doorman LINO RODRIGUEZ VILCHEZ died in January in an incident which was first treated as suicide, but which Peruvian police now allege it was homicide.

Geelong trio JESSICA VO, and brothers HUGH and TOM HANLON, have strongly denied the allegations.

They say they’ll fight to have their names cleared.
