Former Geelong champion GARY ABLETT Senior has applied for an intervention order against a woman he claims is stalking him.
He's told the Geelong Magistrates court he's had months of threats and surveillance from the 39-year-old woman and her associates, and is worried the men would hurt his children. He claims the woman has sent him threatening text messages and has used his mobile phone to track him. But he says the woman also hacked his mobile and deleted the threatening texts. The former AFL star says he met the woman at a party and they became friends when he tried to help her get her life back on track, but she turned on him after their friendship went bad. The case has been adjourned until next week. |
