mental health At least 100 Barwon Mental health workers have suspended strike action.

Their union's decided to hold off after reaching a compromise last night at Fair Work Australia.

Psychiatric nurses, mental health clinicians and other staff had been planning a demonstration outside the office of South Barwon Liberal MP Andrew Katos today.

They’ve been negotiating with the Baillieu state government for 10months for better pay and conditions.

Talks will continue next week.
