Former Geelong star GARY ABLETT senior's case for an intervention order against a woman's been adjourned.

He's applied for an order against the 39-year-old, telling the court he was worried for his own life and those of his children.

He claims the woman had been stalking him and sending threatening messages.

But he says he hasn't received any contact from the woman since the most recent court date last week.
