Organisers are pretty happy with the nominations for the Great Ocean Road Marathon, which will be held next weekend.

A field of 4234 competitors have signed up for the two-day event, including 70 international runners.

Over two-thousand will be running the half marathon, while nine-hundred are going to take on the full marathon from Lorne to Apollo Bay.
