cats Geelong are out of the top eight, after the weekend thumping from Adelaide.

The Crows won by 50 points on Saturday afternoon at Football Park, with Cats coach CHRIS SCOTT saying the club needs to get back its hard ball edge.

He’s refusing to use injuries and late withdrawals as an excuse - MATTHEW SCARLETT and JIMMY BARTEL were late withdrawals, while TOM GILLIES and ALLEN CHRISTENSON were injured during the match.
