Two changes for the Cats for tonight's round-nine opener against the Western Bulldogs at Docklands.

JONATHAN SIMPKIN will make his AFL debut, with veteran MATTHEW SCARLETT back from injury.

Fellow veteran JAMES KELLY's out injured and BILLIE SMEDTS dropped.

For the Bulldogs, DANIEL PEARCE has been promoted for his first senior match, while ADAM COONEY’s also been added in two of the four changes.
