Geelong's JONATHAN SIMPKIN's back on the rookie list, after making his AFL debut last week in the win over the Western Bulldogs.

He's making way for DANIEL MENZEL, who's now off the long-term injury list.

But the good news for SIMPKIN is the Cats will be able to name a nominated rookie after the bye, who can then play in the senior squad.
