The Lara footy club's hoping to get the all clear for its ground to be right for Saturday's GFL clash against Newtown and Chilwell.

The ground's been waterlogged this week after Monday's downpour.

The club says it’ll wait to see what the Geelong council says if it hosts the match at home or moves to another venue.

Meantime, Winchelsea will host its first night game under lights tomorrow night.

The Blues will take on Belmont Lions at the Eastern Reserve for the round eight clash of the GDFL.
