jackson state uni1 A former Geelong Falcon's making the switch to American football as a punter.

19-year-old DARCY WILLIAMSON's won a scholarship with Jackson State University, and will study PE teaching while making his debut for the football team in September.

A hip injury saw his dream of playing AFL pretty much disappear.

DARCY’s told the Geelong Advertiser he’s quite happy to get a place at the university, and he’ll be making sure he studies hard.
