Snoop Dogg has decided after a very spiritual and artistic cleanse and rebirth by the Rasatafarien Priests in Jamaica that he will change his name, and style of music.

Snoop Lion will be his new name, bestowed upon him by the priests that cleansed him, he explained in a recent press conference ;

"With no disrespect to other rappers, but they can't f**k with me in rap,"

"I've won every accolade you can in rap, they call me 'Uncle Snoop' in rap. When you're an uncle, it's time to find something new ... I want to feel like a kid again."

"It's not that I want to become Snoop Dogg on a reggae track, I want to bury Snoop Dogg, and become Snoop Lion.’
