Geelong's TRENT WEST could be out for the rest of the home and away season with a knee injury.

The Geelong Advertiser says the ruckman's believed to have suffered a medial ligament strain in the win over Adelaide last weekend.

And the Cats are hoping to know more today about the severity of JOSH HUNT's quad injury.

He was subbed off during the third quarter in the two-point win over Hawthorn on Friday night.
