A special hoon hotline could be set up on the Bellarine Peninsula.

A trial campaign is being run by Bellarine Police which will allow locals to dob in local hoon, to try and reduce accidents in the region.

Police are also getting ready to crack down on known hoon hotspots including Thirteenth Beach Road in Barwon Heads, and Wallington Road Ocean Grove.
