K-ROCK’s Brown Ribbon Day is back for 2012. Teaming up with the EJ Whitten Foundation once again; we are back to create awareness for men’s health! Each year 1 in 5 people’s lives are touched by prostate cancer, that could be your dad, your grandfather, brother, husband, partner… Every year we push people to wear brown on Brown Ribbon Day; Friday August 31st in order to raise awareness and to create the conversation about these delicate men’s health issues, that often get swept under the carpet. But just asking one question; ‘Have you been checked?’ Can change a life.. Listen to the B-Team, 6am weekdays, for more information, and to find out how you can help or head to http://www.ejwhittenfoundation.com.au/ |
