Trucks could face city centre ban

truck Non-essential trucks could be banned from Geelong's CBD in the future.

A $125,000 study into how people and goods travel around the city centre has been announced by the state government.

The investigation will provide a 20-year blueprint for the region.

The freight study expected to be finished by the end of the year but local authorities say there's general agreement about limiting truck movements.
