Woman flown to hospital after car hits tree

ambulance chopper A young woman's been trapped in her car for over an hour after hitting a tree in Point Lonsdale.

Emergency crews were called to Shell road just after 8-30 this morning, having to cut the woman out of her car before she was finally freed just before ten.

John Mullen from Ambulance Victoria says the 18-year-old’s been flown to Melbourne’s Alfred Hospital.
