Geelong have made it eight straight wins in the VFL with one game left in the home and away season.

While the Cats trailed in most of their weekend clash against Coburg at Kardinia Park, they came home strongly to win 11-13-79 to 9-12-66.

Travis Varcoe returned from a stress fracture in his foot, while Nathan Vardy and Dawson Simpson also impressed on the field.

The Cats last match of the regular season will be at K-Park on Saturday from 1pm.
