The Barwon River's peaked at two-and-a-half metres overnight after weekend rain, meaning Barrabool Road in Belmont, Rennie Street in Lara and Winchelsea Deans Marsh Road south of Winchelsea are all closed. Ian Carlton from the Geelong SES says we could expect more flooding in coming months. or listen here
