The match review panel’s cleared St Kilda's Lenny Hayes for a high knock to Geelong’s Taylor Hunt.
The panel’s ruled Hayes was contesting and trying to mark the ball last Friday night when he clashed with Hunt, and there was no other realistic way to contest the ball. But North Melbourne chairman James Brayshaw’s used the decision to have another shot at the AFL over Jack Ziebell’s suspension, who was suspended for four-matches for a clash with Carlton’s Aaron Joseph. Western Bulldog Will Minson could miss Sunday’s clash with Geelong, after being charged with misconduct, and has been offered a one-match ban. Image: Lenny Hayes cleared over his hit on Taylor Hunt |
