Tough new anti-gang laws that could see bikie clubs outlawed will be ready to go before state parliament in weeks.
The so-called anti-association laws will allow police to declare bikie groups criminal organisations, but they'll also target street gangs and underworld crime groups. It’s believed the final touches are now being put on legislation, which could go before state parliament within the next month or so. The Rebels, Bandidos and Black Uhlans all have bases in Geelong while the Outlaws have clubrooms in Werribee. Police are also keeping watch on street gangs in the two cities.
