A girl charged over setting fire to a school in Corio last year will not have a conviction recorded.
The 13-year-old was arrested after a fire destroyed parts of Northern Bay College’s Hendy St campus, causing the school to close.
Police saying due to her age, there was no reasonable prospect of conviction.

Sections of the school were destroyed during the fire, with temporary buildings set up in place.
A full rebuild is due to be completed this year.
