A breakthrough in a spree of fires in Belmont last year.
Police from the Geelong Crime Investigation Unit last week arresting a man over a series of fires that were lit in the Belmont area last year.
The incidents happened in November.

A 24-year-old man from Belmont has now been charged with 15 criminal damages from the fires.
He is set to appear before the Geelong Magistrates court in August.
