Police have arrested three teenagers following a bomb threat on a Geelong V/Line service.
It’s alleged a call was made to station staff informing them of a bomb onboard a train around 8pm on Wednesday.
Police evacuated passengers at Marshall Station, with no injuries reported.
The Bomb Response Unit was called into Waurn Ponds Station and deemed the area safe.
Three boys from the Greater Geelong area were arrested after a short pursuit, ending on Barwon-Heads Road in Barwon Heads around 11.30pm.
A 13-year-old boy was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date, facing a number of charges including making a bomb hoax threat.
Another two boys, aged 15 and 16, were released and are expected to be charged on summons.
